Well it’s finally here…the end of my 2nd annual National Cookie Week. It’s been a great week of making #CookieWeek trend on the twitter, baking a cookie a day, visiting all my fabulous participating bakery friends and seeing what they came up with…OH No! What am I to do? Hit the gym is what. BUT!! we still have today and one more cookie from your truly! I won’t keep you waiting for the recipe as I am sure there is a lot of Sunday mimosa to be had!
1 stick of butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 bananas mashed
1/2 cup Peanut Butter & Co. Dark Chocolate Peanut butter
2.5 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips.
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 325°
These cookies come out doughy and very banana bread like. They will become very fragrant when they are done which is another way to tell they are finished.
